Drawermark / fit notes

The right fit starts with a small, honest measurement.

A size label is only useful when it is connected to your body. Take one calm waist measurement, then let the cut and the product’s own size list do the rest.

01 / Measure

Three steps to a useful number.

  1. 01

    Find your natural waist

Stand relaxed and find the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the hip bones and below the ribs.

Keep the tape level all the way around.

  2. 02

    Take a comfortable reading

Wrap a soft tape around your skin or a single light layer. Breathe normally and let the tape touch without digging in.

Record the measurement in inches or centimetres.

  3. 03

Match the pair, not a label

Open the size list on the product you like and compare your waist measurement with that pair’s available range.

The right size can vary slightly between cuts and brands.

Measure at the natural waist, not where your waistband happens to sit.

A practical reference

Let comfort be part of the measurement.

The tape should lie flat

Keep it parallel to the floor. Do not pull it tight or leave a gap.

Measure again if unsure

Take two readings in the same relaxed position and use the consistent one.

02 / Choose

The size chart is the starting point. The fit is the decision.

When you are between sizes
Choose the larger size for an easier, less restrictive fit. A little room is more comfortable than a waistband that asks you to adjust it all day.

Start with your natural waist measurement.

Compare it with the size list for that exact pair.

If it falls between sizes, choose the larger one.
